You will undoubtedly have seen every shop, brand and independent running a sale in the recent weeks, desperately trying to rid themselves of last season’s stock and refresh their shop floors with the latest must-haves.

I have a love/hate relationship with sales; I love a bargain, but I’m also very aware that it’s basically clothing that they haven’t been able to sell, for one reason or another.
