Today marks the announcement of a brand new collection from UNIQLO UT, but this time around for SS14 they are welcoming world renowned musician and producer Pharrell as their new collaborator and spokesperson. Originally launched in 2003 the UNIQLO UT t-shirt brand has been revamped and pumped up with “The New Model T” which is a super slick collection which has been wonderfully created bu NIGO who is the creative director for the brand and he is also seen as a street fashion icon. So this is a gent who’s aesthetic we need to paying attention too.
The SS14 collection is all about making a statement featuring 35 themes that are composed of more than 1,200 colours and patterns. It also features a line which is a wonderfully creative collaboration with Pharrell’s “I am OTHER” collection. Pharrell who is making his stamp in the public eye right now will be fronting the campaign as the face of the collection, so he will be appearing in editorials and even commercials.
This collection will be available worldwide, and also the t-shirt you see Pharrell wearing in the above pictures will be available online on the 6th March as a limited edition piece for the first 240 customers.
