As a country of coffee lovers, we all claim to know where to get the best coffee in our towns or cities, but what happens when you find yourself in an unfamiliar place and suddenly get a craving for a cup of the good stuff? If you’re lucky enough to find yourself in the wonderful city of Birmingham, then getting a wonderful flat white is as easy as 1 2 3, with a vast choice of independents and chains making up the city, the choice really is yours.

I’ve put together a list of what I feel are the best places to hit up, whether you want a quiet coffee or a quick game scrabble over a cup of Joe, we’ve got you.

This place is coffee through and through, the menu is super simple but crammed with quality, serving up a fantastic espresso using beans from London’s Workshop Coffee. Well worth a go if you’re a little bit outside of the city but fancy a serious hit of quality caffeine.
