By now, we all know of Arket and the outstanding, long lasting pieces they create, which is why I get very excited when they put a sale on. Sales are notoriously hit and miss, and of late they have divided opinion; does it encourage over spending on clothes that you don’t necessarily need?
Yes, to a certain degree. However, given the fact that Arket create pieces that will see you through a good few seasons, I can’t help but feel that their sale is completely justified.
Seeing as Spring is well and truly here, their winter collection has had its prices slashed, and unlike other brands who chuck any old unsold item in their sale, the Arket sale is full of pieces that you will definitely want to own. The real beauty lies in the fact that Arket create clothing that never loses its appeal, so it might seem like you’re buying a winter piece in Spring, but you’re actually investing in pieces for next winter.
Allow me to show you what I feel are the pieces to be buying into.

What is Winter without a down puffer jacket? It’s easy to see why this is one of the most popular styles of coat during the winter period. Not only do they look great with almost any outfit, they pack in incredible warmth. Why wait until next Winter to invest in this?
Straight Leg Wool Trousers – Was £89 Now £62

The illustrious overshirt, hands down the most versatile piece you will ever own. Worn over a t- shirt for those slightly chilly summer evenings or underneath a bigger coat during the winter months, bag one in the sale and in Autumn you will be very thankful.
